Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. She is the fourth Roberts generation to reside in Atlanta from her farmer great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts. Her father was a theatre enthusiast at an early time. He acted on the Emory University campus in 1952 as well as in various productions that were staged around Atlanta. When he joined the Air Force, in 1953 he appeared in an airforce production in Biloxi together with Betty Lou Bredemus. They married in 1955. Their first son, Eric Anthony, was born in 1956. Walter was a student at Tulane University at New Orleans in the year 1957, after they had separated from the US Air Force. Walter began working for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. The year 1964 was when Walter along with Betty Lou began production on a local Saturday morning children's TV show called Bum Bum and His Buddies which they financed on their own. They also established a six-year Actors and Writers Workshop later that same year. In the meantime, they had two more kids Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in the year 1965, and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
